February 2nd marks three important milestones for the second edition of the Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc. Team Manual has been published, registrations are open and there are only 150 days left until the event begins!
On July 3–4, 2025, the World Para Athletics Women’s Grand Prix was held in the Czech Republic for the very first time. The city of Olomouc welcomed one of the nine prestigious World Para Athletics Grand Prix events, the para athletics equivalent of the Diamond League. A total of 151 female para athletes from 41 countries participated and spectators were thrilled to witness two new world records.
The second competition day of the Women's Para Athletics World Cup in Olomouc brought plenty of joy to Czech fans.
Spectators in the stands and viewers of the live broadcast were especially captivated by the close sprint battle in the 100m T47 category and the all-Czech podium in the discus throw for the F31/F32 category. The event also featured a new world record with a Kazakh signature.
Forty-one countries, world champions, Paralympic winners, and Czech stars — that was the lineup at the Women’s Para Athletics World Cup in Olomouc. This prestigious para athletics meeting was held in the Czech Republic for the first time ever. The event was officially opened by First Lady Eva Pavlová, and Czech athletes delivered outstanding performances on the first day of competition.
