The Starters commands will be given in English. Lanes 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be used for T11 and T12. Lanes 1 to 7 will be used for all events run entirely in lanes. Athletes will be allowed on the competition track on competition days between sessions finishing one hour before the start of the evening session. For 200m events and above before proceeding to the starting line wheelchair athletes will be permitted to complete one lap to set their compensators.
A minimum of four (4) athletes from two (2) NPCs is necessary to sustain an individual medal event on the programme. If there are three athletes entered into an event, the event will be held under the “minus one principle”. If there are two or one, the event will be combined with other events where applicable and appropriate. Events that are combined and as indicated on the event list, placings will be determined by the percentage of the World Record. For events that don’t reach the viability standard and can’t be combined will be non-medal events.
