February 2nd marks three important milestones for the second edition of the Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc. Team Manual has been published, registrations are open and there are only 150 days left until the event begins!
On July 3–4, 2025, the World Para Athletics Women’s Grand Prix was held in the Czech Republic for the very first time. The city of Olomouc welcomed one of the nine prestigious World Para Athletics Grand Prix events, the para athletics equivalent of the Diamond League. A total of 151 female para athletes from 41 countries participated and spectators were thrilled to witness two new world records.
Prize money for 2026 announced
100 days remain until the second edition of Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc and Prize money has been announced!
As today marks the 100 days-to-go milestone, LOC presents great news! Prize money is increased and broadened to reward the top performances achieved during Olomouc Grand Prix.
This initiative aims to attract the elite female athletes from all around the world to come and participate at the only WPA Grand Prix dedicated exclusively to women. This year the financial benefit will be awarded to the top five performances in each of the five categories - seated throws, ambulatory throws, racing chairs, ambulatory track and jumps.
The ranking will be based on achieved percentage of the athletes' performances against World Record in their respective class. World Records for any event that is vacant or has a standard would not be eligible for inclusion in the calculation and subsequent ranking for prize money. Each athlete can be awarded only once.
