The second day of the Olomouc Grand Prix was also marked by great performances. Once again, a world record was set, although this time it could not be officially recognized due to the wind support.

The record books were rewritten once again! Czech fans also had plenty to celebrate, cheering on their athletes as they secured more medals, including gold.
Irina Tychshenko made history. The experienced competitor from Kazakhstan—who has been breaking world records in Olomouc consistently since last year—celebrated a victory in the shot put. She threw 8.83 meters, improving by four centimeters the F45 category world record she had set at this very venue exactly one year prior.
Czech athletes also made their way onto the podium. Amidst a strong international field, Martina Absolonová defeated all her rivals in the 400 m race T20 to take home the gold medal, while Miroslava Adámková also claimed gold by winning the F56 discus throw. Tereza Jakschová added bronze medal in the T47 400 meter race.
During Saturday's program, the organizers also announced the best overall performance of this year's Grand Prix. This feat was achieved on the very first day by Croatia’s Karla Hergotic; making her debut at the Grand Prix series event, she surpassed the previous world record—set in 2001—by more than three meters, according to the Croatian Para-Athletics Federation website.
Her performance was one of four world records set over the three days in Olomouc, a tally that surpassed the event's inaugural year and served as the perfect invitation for the third edition, scheduled to take place in 2027.
Congratulations to all the athletes and their teams for great performances that spectators witnessed during whole 3 days programme!
