On July 3–4, 2025, the World Para Athletics Women’s Grand Prix was held in the Czech Republic for the very first time. The city of Olomouc welcomed one of the nine prestigious World Para Athletics Grand Prix events, the para athletics equivalent of the Diamond League. A total of 151 female para athletes from 41 countries participated and spectators were thrilled to witness two new world records.
Ve dnech 3. - 4. července 2025 se vůbec poprvé v České republice uskutečnil Světový pohár v para atletice žen, a to na atletickém stadionu TJ Lokomotiva Olomouc. Hanácká metropole hostila jeden z devíti závodů prestižní série World Para Athletics Grand Prix, obdoby atletické Diamantové ligy. Na start se postavilo 151 para atletek ze 41 zemí a diváci se mohli těšit ze dvou světových rekordů.
150 days to the second Women's Grand Prix
February 2nd marks three important milestones for the second edition of the Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc. Team Manual has been published, registrations are open and there are only 150 days left until the event begins!
LOC anounces that the Team Manual for second year of Olomouc Women's Grand Prix has been officially released. It is now available in the section Team Manual above. The information about all the relevant fields of the Event are to be found in the respective tabs. Complete manual in PDF can also be downloaded from the tab Downloads.
As of today registrations for the Event are open, so NPCs/NFs can start entering their teams via the IPC Online Entry System. Other necessary forms that need to be provided to LOC are also in the tab Downloads. Please read the manual carefully and adhere to the deadlines outlined especially in regards to the registrations, visa, accreditation, accommodation and transport.
The title "150 days to go" also means that there are exactly five months to the Opening Ceremony of the first competition day. The city of Olomouc is eagerly awaiting all the participating women and LOC is truly humble in inviting you all to come and celebrate women power in the para athletics!
